Stour began in 2006 by rolling out WiFi hotspots across the British Canal and River Waterways Network, bridging gaps in weak mobile reception. These hotspots provided consistent access to the internet and online communication.

Today, Stour operates its own WiFi network within multiple marinas across the UK, offering seamless voice and data services. Customers can connect through mobile devices or laptops at Stour access points within these locations. Stour provides WiFi and GSM roaming services for those travelling beyond our network through global partnerships.
